I’ve long been a fan of Jim Collins’ classic ‘Good to Great.’ One of its most compelling insights is the Hedgehog Principle. It might seem trivial, but I have a genuine passion for impeccably crafted slide decks<\/strong>. I find immense satisfaction when every element is harmoniously balanced. Witnessing meticulous attention to the small details brings me joy. Everything seamlessly woven into a compelling narrative<\/strong> is truly the icing on the cake. It’s a delightful experience that ignites the creative (right) side of my brain<\/strong>.

However, I’m also an economist<\/strong> with a fascination for mathematics and physics<\/strong>, which naturally appeals to the left side of the brain. I’ve always been driven to comprehend the underlying economic mechanisms, aiming to grasp the broader picture and the strategic forces shaping our world.

Since the early 90s, Excel granted me the power to model these dynamics into economic frameworks. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for intricately crafted business models, satisfying the analytical (left) side of my brain<\/strong>.

So, I have a passion for Excel<\/strong>, but I also love Photoshop<\/strong>. That’s where you truly have the freedom to visually shape your ideas. And finally, PowerPoint<\/strong> is the place to bring it all together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

With over 25 years of experience, I know that coming up with a good deck is half the battle. I’ve made hundreds of presentations<\/strong> and learned from numerous mistakes along the way.\u00a0<\/p>

I was trained as an economist specializing in economic theory and modelling<\/strong>, particularly in mathematical economics. In my professional career I’ve worked as a manager<\/strong> in several departments (marketing, business development, innovation). I ran several business units with P&L responsibility. Additionally, I’ve served as an internal strategy consultant<\/strong> within a large corporate environment. I’ve conceptualized and helped to implement strategies.\u00a0<\/p>

In addition to my managerial and consulting roles, I also served as an ‘intrapreneur<\/strong>‘. Always looking for new opportunities. I’ve co-founded several joint ventures. In some I took the role of director.<\/p>

Finally, before becoming an entrepreneur myself, I was responsible for establishing and leading Corporate Venture Capital business units. We are a small, starting business. Currently, we offer three services:<\/p>

Consultancy<\/strong>: We believe that collaborating on your presentations and business cases is the most effective way to achieve tangible results. This collaboration often proves to be mutually rewarding. It’s a great opportunity to learn and understand the underlying mechanisms for creating effective slides. We provide this service as an independent consultant.\u00a0<\/p>

Training<\/strong>: A more direct method of learning is through our training programs. We only offer in-company training (for up to 15 people per class). Our training programs are always tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client. Based on demand, we may consider offering inter-company training. Currently, we do not offer online training.<\/p>

Sharing Insights<\/strong>: Our third service involves sharing insights on our website. We accomplish this through blog posts, which may either delve deeply into a subject or provide quick tutorials, depending on the topic.
